Yup, neon is baaaaaack! It’s summer and brights are definitely in. It’s a repeat trend but neons are always welcomed during this season. There’s just something about it that makes summer fashion more fun. But just when you think this trend is perfect for beach items such as bikinis, cover ups, tanks, and shorts, come this high-low dress in neon from Deb Shops!
This week’s Mani Monday features nail art inspired by our geometric shorts! Read on to see how Samantha of PackaPunchPolish completed this intricate mani.
I decided to base the nail art off of the shorts, because I loved the pattern so much that I thought it would translate well as nail art.
I used striping tape and a small nail art brush to do this design! The basically white lines is where the striping tape was and I used the tape as guidelines to trace the squares (or diamonds?) on the inside.
For the white base I used Wet n Wild’s Wild Shine in French White Creme. If you don’t like spending lots of money on white polishes because they dry up, get thick, and run out too quickly, I highly recommend getting this polish. It’s only 99 cents and I think it works great for the price! The blue is China Glaze Too Yacht To Handle from their newest summer collection. The pink is China Glaze Dance Baby. Yeah, yeah, I know.. I’ve been using Dance Baby a lot lately, but I can’t resist! It’s definitely one of my favorite pinks and is usually my go to when I need a standard pink cream. The beige/brown is OPI Berlin There Done That. And of course I used Out The Door for my top coat.
I personally think these colors look fantastic together! At first I thought my beige choice was going to be a little too dark, but it turned out to be just right!

I immediately fell in love with this top – the stripes, peplum detail and super cute neon pink bow, I mean, can it get much better? Pairing the cuffed jeans with the cutesy top and dressier, metallic heels and earrings create a more casual-chic look, perfect for a night out with the girls.

Since June is the month for neon, we’re bringing you a cheap and easy DIY you can recreate in a flash! Our brighter arm party can be achieved by using neon nail polish to paint simple silver bangles. Read on for full instructions, then be sure to tag us on Instagram if you try it out!
Start by selecting a few bright neon polishes. We chose pink, yellow, orange and blue!
Paint each silver bangle a different polish color. When finished, let dry overnight.

Today I put together a date night outfit from Deb Shops! How can you NOT fall in love with this dress? The lovely back bow detailing sold me! It’s the perfect combination of sophisticated and feminine! The most perfect little dinner date dress. To keep the main focus on the dress, I did a soft nude heel. The heels has its own little added detailing, spikes! The back heels may be covered in spikes, but in a tasteful way, a great conversation piece! To give my a look an even sweeter touch, I added a peach beaded necklace with a gold chain. This little dress is a great choice for any date night. You can never really go wrong with a little black dress.

Today’s outfit is a great example of mixing an edgier piece with something more feminine and girly. We are totally crushing on the festival trend right now! Embellished sunnies have been popping up at music festivals everywhere– and why wouldn’t they be! They are SO cute. This easy DIY will show you how to create your own style. Flowers not your thing? Try studs or pearls! Find your inspiration and then make this trendy craft your own by following the instructions below!
Supplies: Plastic flower beads (we got ours from amazon.com for under $5!), a glue gun and Deb Shops’ plastic wayfarers.
First, create your design! We did our design to emulate the ombre trend. Glue flowers to the plastic frame from the outside to the inside. For the best hold, apply the hot glue directly onto the frame.
Place each embellishment onto the glue and hold until dry. Repeat the process until completed.
Tada! You’re finished! Go show off your new floral sunnies– everyone will want to know where you got them.

Flower power! We DIY-ed our own floral crown, an accessory that’s perf for festival season!

This year’s festival must-have? A floral crown, of course! Practically everyone seemed to be donning a floral crown at Coachella, so we decided to supply you with a DIY so you can create one for yourself!
Supplies: flowers (at least three different colors), craft wire (one thin to tie the flowers on, one thick for the actual crown!) and scissors.
First, create your crown! Use the thicker wire to create the perfect size crown for your head.
Then, cut a 4 inch piece of the smaller wire. Feed the wire through the petals of the flower. Feed halfway through so you have two even ends left on either side.
Wrap the two ends of the wire around the crown so the flower is securely attached to the crown.
Continue to do so until you are satisfied with the amount of flowers on your crown. You can ever go all the way around if you want!
All finished!
