DIY: mason jar organizer

Mother’s Day is rapidly approaching! Since all moms love homemade gifts (no matter how old you are!), we’ve put together a super simple DIY that you can whip up in under 20 minutes! The best part? You probably already have most of these supplies at home!

Supplies: Mason jars, yarn, Mod Podge (glue that you can find at your nearest craft store), sponge brush, hot glue gun.

Using your sponge brush, apply the glue to the Mason Jar. Just do a little bit at a time, this glue dries fairly quickly! Begin wrapping the yarn (tightly!) around the jar. You may want to use a hot glue gun to secure the beginning and end of the yarn so it stays put! As you wrap further down the jar, add more glue. Continue until you’ve wrapped the entire jar, then secure the end using your hot glue gun. Sometimes the yarn begins to fray, so when you’re finished spray with hairspray so it stays in place. Let dry overnight. This craft is perfect for storing stuff at the office and home. Enjoy!
