Spring Stripes – Tutorial

If you’re like us then you’re already in spring mode! This week we tried out a mani that is transitional from winter to spring. It features both new spring colors we love (hello, mint!) but still incorporates darker winter hues. Read on to see how we completed this simple mani below!

Supplies:

A few different shades of polish (we chose blush, mint, 2 shades of purple and light blue), a striping brush, top coat

Step 1: Paint your nails a light color as a base (we chose blush!).

Step 2: Using a striping brush (available at select Deb Shops stores), dip the brush into your polish and simply create a stripe. Be sure to clean the brush with nail polish remover after each different color stripe. Let dry.

Step 2

Step 3: After your nails are dry, apply a thin layer of glitter polish. The glitter should be fine, not chunky so it does not hide the design.

The end result! We love how the stripes almost look like colorful feathers!
